Bristol Hash House Harriers has chosen Bristol After Stroke as its charity of the year this year. We were nominated by one of their members, Sue Baic, our regular partner for nutrition advice at our Next Steps physiotherapy-led course.
Bristol After Stroke is delighted to have been chosen as Bristol & Clifton Golf Club's Captain's Charity again this year. Captain Alan Thoy will be hosting a special Charity Golf Day on Friday 8th June 2018 to raise much needed funds. As Bristol After Stroke celebrates its 35th birthday this year such funds will help us in our ambition to raise an additional £100,000 for services for people affected by stroke in Bristol. Bristol & Clifton Golf Club and Bristol After Stroke are pleased that wealth management company, Brewin Dolphin, will again be the main sponsor of the event.
We were delighted to welcome special guests, volunteers and service users to help celebrate 35 years of support people after stroke. We heard about the incredible work of our dedicated staff and volunteers in all the activities and services we provide, and the impact this has had on people affected by stroke.
