We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our Charity Patron of 2020 - Amanda Nicholls, Editor of The Bristol Magazine.

South-of-the-river resident Amanda has lived in Bristol most of her life, growing up in Easton, going to school in Cotham. Amanda has edited The Bristol Magazine for the past four years, picking out the best of the city to fill the magazine’s pages each issue is something she feels is a huge privilege – not least having a very handy head’s up on what exciting, innovative events are being put on from month to month, and an inbox brimming with inspiring news from Bristol’s hardworking charities and creative organisations.

Amanda said: 'I’m so pleased to be working with Bristol After Stroke and, with increasing numbers of younger people living with the effects of the condition, I am really looking forward to learning more about this stalwart local charity, which has been doing valuable work in the city for decades.'

Bristol After Stroke is registered in England and Wales under Charity Company Number: 11841993 and Charity Number: 1182124 at The Gatehouse Centre, Hareclive Road, Hartcliffe, Bristol, BS13 9JN. We use cookies to improve your experience using this website.
