At any point in your recovery journey you might well find you could benefit from taking part in one of our (free!) Next Step courses… and the next one begins in May!
Next Steps is a proven physiotherapy-led course designed specifically for people recovering from a stroke, providing them with a goal-focused exercise programme.
This is an opportunity to continue physical rehabilitation in a supportive group setting.
This particular 7-week course will be focussed on Upper Limb mobility. To be able to attend this course, you should be able to move your affected arm, elbow, hand, fingers by at least 10-20 degrees.
Each session will run for 2 hours and will comprise of:
1. Gentle, goal-focused exercise, and
2. Friendly talks and group discussions on topics such as managing fatigue, diet, medication, and stress.

Time: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Dates: Wednesdays from 3rd June - 15th July

Before the programme begins, we’ll invite you to a short 30-minute pre-assessment to make sure the sessions are right for you. These will take place at Glenside Campus on Monday 1st June. We hope you can join us and look forward to meeting you.
