On Saturday 15th October, Mike Spiring climbed the equivalent of Mount Everest twice on a Versaclimber, total height of 58,068 feet in 10 hours.

Mike who is a health coach and runs a Leaner for Life online body transformation program says “I'm doing this to raise funds for Bristol After Stroke. Nearly a year ago one of my old school friends suffered a life changing stroke. At just 54 he collapsed without warning, losing the use of his speech and right side within minutes. A man who was once fit and healthy, must now relearn the things that we take for granted. Since May I have been helping him, along with others in his rehab.
I have also known three other people to suffer from a stroke, so I want to do something to help”

Mike incredible feat took place outside Wild About Flowers on Keynsham High Street.

The company Versaclimber are also kindly provided a second climber, so members of the public were able to come along and give the versaclimber a go, to see how it works and also hard this challenge was, whilst giving their support to Mike.

Mike raised a amazing amount of money, including gift aid and a wonderful match funding of £500.00 from HSBC, Mikes total so far comes to £3354.32
