Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms encountered by stroke-affected people… making May’s “Life After Stroke” free webcast particularly relevant.
Every month, Bristol After Stroke, as part of The Stroke Health Integration Team (HIT), organises a free webcast on an important health topic and at 12.30pm on 29 May we’ll be given an expert’s perspective of fatigue after stroke.
Dr Amy Zarandi is a Clinical Psychologist working in a Stroke Neuropsychology team which provides a neuropsychology service across the One Stroke Pathway, with North Bristol NHS Trust, University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust and Sirona. Her talk will cover information about different types of fatigue and contributing factors, how fatigue is maintained and areas impacted, and strategies to support the individual experiencing fatigue.
There will be plenty of time for questions.
All Life After Stroke sessions are also recorded for you to go back and watch afterwards.
