Shoulder pain after a Stroke is a common problem. It can happen for many reasons and range from a short-term nuisance to a chronic debilitating condition.

The November HIT free online session on Thursday 27th November takes place between 12.30 and 2.00pm and will explore the common reasons why shoulder pain may develop post stroke, look at ways in which to manage and prevent it… and advise on where to go if this management or prevention doesn’t work.

This Health Integration Team session will be completed by James Hinder, a trainee advanced clinical practitioner working on the stroke rehabilitation ward in South Bristol community hospital.

James is a Physiotherapist by background who has over eight years’ experience of working in Stroke and currently runs his own private neuro physiotherapy business.

There will also be plenty of time for questions.
