Aphasia is one of the most common symptoms of a stroke: it affects almost everyone differently; and while, recovery is often possible, it can still leave people with communication problems in the months and years ahead.

Here at Bristol After Stroke, helping people re-find their voices is one of the things we do best… and we don’t do it alone!

Come along to one of the six aphasia groups run by our experienced support coordinators in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, and you’ll be in great company, joining others living with aphasia – and whose lived experiences, advice, enthusiasm and support will help you on your recovery journey.

We also run communication workshops run by skilled speech therapists.
