This month our guest speaker is David Melling from the Centre for Deaf & Hard of Hearing People

The Centre for Deaf & Hard of Hearing People is of "a Bristol where everyone can participate in all aspects of life in the city, whatever their level of hearing." The Centre for Deaf & Hard of Hearing People is here for all Deaf or hard of hearing people in the Bristol area, as well as their friends and families. The majority of their staff and trustees are Deaf or hard of hearing themselves and they fully understand the impact of living with hearing loss. They can share experiences and provide practical information and advice on dealing with the challenges hearing loss brings.

All the usual support and activities will be available - refreshments, meeting others with similar situations and experiences, and opportunities to meet the Stroke Support Coordinators for your area. If you need assistance to get to the Stroke Cafe Bristol After Stroke can arrange community transport.
