Bristol After Stroke is proud to join Rosetta Life and the Stroke Association for the launch of the Bristol Health Partners Stroke Health Integration Team on Thursday 15th November 2018 2.00-7.00pm at Circomedia, Portland Square, Bristol, BS2 8SJ

Highlights of the launch day include:

  • Photo exhibition by people affected by stroke. What helped or inspired you on your road to recovery? If you want to submit a photo for the event exhibition you can do so by contacting Emily Dodd [email protected] or 0117 328 7496, or you can bring your photo along on the day. 
  • Virtual reality demonstrations
  • The premiere of the film Getting Home which follows local stroke survivors on their road to recovery
  • Market place – local support, activities and research showcase
  • Stroke Ambassadors’ café
  • Presentation: What is the Health Integration Team? Richard Lyle, Associate Director for Service Redesign at BNSSG Clinical Commissioning Group, will talk about plans for transforming stroke services in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) at 2.30pm and again at 5.30pm
  • Update on the local Stroke Care Pathway review
  • Rapid presentations – what the HIT does: improving care; education and training; research and evaluation
