Hospital in-reach

Your recovery journey may begin in hospital. We have a monthly presence at both Southmead Hospital and South Bristol Community Hospital.

Southmead Hospital

Bristol After Stroke have a regular drop in session. This is an opportunity to chat to key workers and people who have had strokes for support, advice and information. We can also visit people on the wards at their request during this time.

It takes place on the 3rd Tuesday of the month 2pm – 3pm. This is at the reception area at Gate 34, Level 3.

South Bristol Community Hospital

We run a monthly drop in café for people who are having rehabilitation at South Bristol Community Hospital. Run by Key Workers and volunteers who have previously had strokes, it is an opportunity to get together and request support, get information or simply to enjoy a cup of tea with some other people.

It takes place on 4th Wednesday of the month from 10.30am - 11.30am.
