Other, less common, indications of stroke may include the sudden onset of:

  • Paralysis of one side of the body
  • Loss or blurring of vision 
  • Dizziness
  • Confusion
  • Difficulty understanding what others are saying
  • Problems with balance & co-ordination 
  • Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia)
  • Sudden and very severe headache
  • Loss of consciousness
