Want to improve your movement and balance?

The Next Steps programme offers physiotherapy-led goal-focussed exercises and information that aim to improve mobility, balance and physical confidence.  It is geared specifically for those with a one-sided weakness, but who are able to perform sit to stand with or without support and can walk 10 metres with or without a walking aid.

Additionally Next Steps offers information and support with issues such as fatigue, diet, exercise and stress management.

It is an eight-week programme and the sessions are weekly, each lasting approximately two hours.  The sessions include tailored exercises followed by speakers, demonstrations and discussion. You will be invited to a pre-course assessment of your particular needs.
