At Bristol After Stroke we are looking at ways to keep providing the services we know you love and appreciate, that’s why we are piloting a virtual Mindfulness session on Tuesday 7th July at 10.00am until 11.30am via a video conferencing app called Zoom. As some of you may know we recently held our ACT course via Zoom and this was a success.
ACTion after Stroke helps with the many negative feelings you may experience after stroke – and is available to carers/spouses as well as the person who has had the stroke. ACTion after Stroke helps you understand how your mind works, how you can overcome disturbing and distressing thoughts, and introduces useful tips on stress reduction, relaxation and goal setting.
